Tesla Horror: Student Burned Alive After Cybertruck Doors Allegedly Failed

A tragic accident turned into a nightmare when a Tesla Cybertruck’s doors allegedly failed — trapping a young woman inside as smoke and flames consumed the vehicle.

The crash occurred when the Cybertruck collided with a tree at high speed. Although the impact itself wasn’t fatal for her, she wasn’t able to escape. Because the truck lost power, its electronic door system malfunctioned. The lawsuit claims the rear-seat release is buried under a liner, making it nearly impossible to find in a crisis.

While one passenger managed to get out, she wasn’t so lucky. Firefighters and bystanders attempted rescues, but the fire’s intensity made entry impossible. She ultimately died from smoke inhalation and burns, not the collision itself.

Now her family is suing Tesla, saying the Cybertruck’s design turned a survivable crash into a deathtrap. They argue the company knew about the dangers of relying entirely on electric door systems — but never built in an accessible manual emergency exit.

At its heart, this case questions whether high-tech design crossed into a dangerous blind spot. When technology fails, a life was lost.
