Seven-year-old Christopher Corbin feared a monster in his closet, convinced it would eventually harm him. His mother, Lacey, tried to ease his fears with a nightlight and a nanny cam. To her shock, the footage revealed a boy, Victor, hiding in the closet. Victor explained that he had been attending Christopher’s birthday party and had run away from his abusive father and stepmother. After witnessing the abuse firsthand, Lacey took action, and with police involvement, Victor’s safety was ensured. Lacey eventually adopted Victor, and he became a brother and best friend to Christopher. What began as a terrifying fear led to rescuing a child in need, proving that sometimes the things we fear the most can be life-changing blessings.
