A married couple were asleep when the phone rang at 2 a.m. The wife (a blonde) picked it up, listened for a moment, and snapped:

“How should I know? That’s 200 miles from here!” — then hung up.

The husband, half-awake and curious, asked, “Who was that?”

His lovely wife replied:
“Some idiot asking if the coast is clear.”
